Deb,
All fun aside - you know that we don't use Brasso on historic metals,
don't you?
Actually it behooves any musuem or historic site to have a set of
guidelines that are part of any contract for space use that cover
secuirty, safety, and conservation issues. This should include having a
collections/conservation monitor present during the event. I can't tell
you how many times we caught film crews trying to move antiques, or to
use those damn oil-based fog machines, when I worked for a major
history musuem in years past.
Cheers!

I would have told them to go right ahead - and then handed them the
Brasso and told them that they'd have to polish every piece of armor
afterwards. ;)
