We are exploring options to make the roads and pathways in our turn of the century historic village more accessible to visitors with mobility limitations while maintaining the correct street surface materials (dirt/gravel). We have been looking into soil stabilizers that are mixed with the earth and harden the surface while maintaining its appearance.  One of the products we are exploring is Polypavement (http://www.polypavement.com).  Have any other facilities used this or a similar product on their roads and walkways?  If so I’m interested in whether the surface met your expectations?  Was it easy for wheelchairs and people who have hard time walking to navigate?  Do you use it for vehicle traffic?  How has it held up (this is particularly important for us since have to endure the seasonal temperature extremes of the Midwest).  How does it look?  Anything anyone could share would be much appreciated.
