Hello -
Jonathan Ward here from the Getty Vocabulary Program, at the Getty Research Institute - and a new subscriber to the list. I have a message from our managing editor:
From Patricia Harpring, Managing Editor, Getty Vocabulary Program
CDWA Lite, a draft XML schema for core records for works of art, architecture, and other material culture via the OAI harvesting protocol, is available at http://www.getty.edu/research/conducting_research/standards/cdwa/cdwalite/index.html.
The CDWA Lite elements are a small subset of elements from Categories for the Description of Works of Art (CDWA), formulated in compliance with Cataloging Cultural Objects: A Guide to Describing Cultural Works and Their Images (CCO).
Thanks very much,
Jonathan
