The University of Alaska Museum of the North is in our 3rd year of
dealing with expansion/renovation-pains. We were closed only 1-1/2
months, and that was so that our main gallery could be re-carpeted,
re-painted, and have some new pipes/ducts installed in the ceiling.
You can see the progress at:
www.uaf.edu/museum/ and click on Expansion.
We are a research-based institution that has biological collections
as well as art, history, and anthropology.
Best,
Angela
