Dear Listers,

I am hoping there are some professors or grad students out there in the LA
area who might be interested in this opportunity.

The Corita Art Center is a small gallery and archive dedicated to the
preservation, interpretation and promotion of the works of the late
serigraph artist Corita Kent (aka Sister Mary Corita).

We have a wealth of archival objects and information just waiting for an Art
History or a Library Science degree candidate to delve into for
thesis/dissertation/case study purposes.

We also have a make-it-up as you go nonprofit organization willing to be a
business school case study, or perhaps some combination of the two for
students studying the business of art?

I have contacted a couple of universities, but am open to suggestions and
really hoping there are some students out there who will jump at this unique
opportunity to combine scholarly theory with practical application. We are
seeking graduate students who have expertise in areas we do not so that we
will learn from them while they get to try out their ideas and apply their
academic learning in a practical setting.

Please respond off-list to [log in to unmask]

Thanks,

Sasha Carrera
