A dear friend in the Kansas area is a disability
advocate in that community and works actively with
those who are disabled having to do with the
employment arena. He has asked me the following:

Since you're more into museums than me, do you know of
any curators with a disability? One of my co-workers
is the state coordinator for Disability Mentoring Day
and apparently one of the participants for this fall
has asked about being a museum curator. We don't know
of anyone who might be a good mentor but thought I
would ask if you did.

If you know of someone in that geographical area who
might be willing to act as a one-day (or more) mentor
for someone who has a disability who wishes to work in
the museum field, would you please contact me off list
so that I can forward the info to my friend?

Thank you!
