Hello,
I was hoping someone might know something about an artist by the name of
Bastogg. I have a print entitled, "Louvre Fisherman" and it is signed by
"Bastogg." In the upper right-hand corner is, "O. N. Co., Chicago, '29." I
was taking another item from our collections out of a frame and discovered
this print. I did find a listing for "Louvre Fisherman" at an on-line
auction site, but no other information about the artist. The print can be
viewed at:
https://www.jumpingtrout.com/hacksauction/items.asp?ShowDetail=21807
If you know anything about this print or about the artist, I would love to
hear from you. Thanks in advance.
Sincerely,
Tom Mooney
