I just queried on http://news.google.com with the
keywords Katrina Museum. These came up, and you may
wish to query the site in the days ahead for updates:
LITTLE ROCK (AP) _ Mayor Jim Dailey says the city of
Little Rock is offering discount admissions to
attractions for refugees from Louisiana and
Mississippi who fled Hurricane Katrina.
Visitors with Louisiana or Mississippi driver's
licenses, plus their families, can enter the Little
Rock Zoo for three dollars _ down from its regular
price of six dollars for adults and four dollars for
children.
The Museum of Discovery will cut a dollar from the
admission price, and the War Memorial Fitness Center
would let Louisiana and Mississippi residents with a
license work out for free.
The city also said it would not issue parking tickets
to cars with Louisiana or Mississippi license plates.

Downtown Mobile, which is right on the bay, was
severely flooded by Monday afternoon, the water
pushing down the main streets around the county
courthouse and lapping at the sandbagged doors and
windows at the Mobile Museum. Water all but covered a
number of street signs and parking meters, and large,
heavy planters and some newspaper boxes floated down
the streets.

The grand opening of the attraction was scheduled for
last Saturday in New Orleans at the Jax Brewery
complex in the French Quarter and the day was declared
"Odyssey Shipwreck and Treasure Adventure Day."
Despite the impending hurricane, visitors mingled with
Louisiana dignitaries, politicians and company
officials before the festivities were cut short when
the New Orleans mayor ordered the city evacuated, a
release said.
When the opening day affair closed early, employees
secured the building and artifacts from the storm. The
attraction is on the third floor of its building, and
sits on the highest ground in the city.
"It was a harrowing day preparing for Katrina, but no
matter what the result of the hurricane, we are sure
that the awesome spirit of the people of New Orleans
will prevail," said Greg Stem, Odyssey's co-founder,
in a release.
Tampa-based Odyssey Marine Exploration (AMEX: OMR) has
several shipwreck projects in various stages of
development throughout the world.
