That Time Magazine article is nice bait for those who want to believe it.
Anyone with access to the router can capture the streaming data, decrypt it,
and assemble it into audio. The trick is knowing who to listen to when, as
has always been the case with wiretaps.
Someone is making a bigger deal out of the situation than it warrants, but I
suppose that's what sells magazines and newspapers.
Now, I'm wondering if a VoIP demo at our museum where our visitors could
talk with visitors at museums around the world would be worthwhile. That
could be interesting.
