Title: Museum Registrar

Description: Oversees collections’ operations to ensure safety of the
museum artifacts where duties include providing software and
policy/procedure training to staff, volunteers, and interns; cataloguing
artifacts; processing donations and loans; responding to public inquiries;
processing photo orders; and assisting with the installation and removal of
exhibits.
Minimum requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Museology, History, or a related
field and 2 years of museum collections experience; or an equivalent
combination of education and experience. Master’s Degree preferred.
Training with Re:discovery or related collections software desired.
Pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check.
Hours: 8:30AM-5:30PM weekdays; must be available for weekend work, special
events; and emergency situations.
