Hello fellow listers

Just a quick question. Have any of your museums ever closed for a sort
period for stock taking/cleaning/collections rationalisation purposes? Does
any museum ever do this as a regular - i.e.. yearly - thing? 

We are in discussions with our management regarding a one-off closed period,
and want to know how often it occurs elsewhere.
