I would like to know if anyone has a provision in their museum’s loan
forms prohibiting food in any galleries where artifacts will be
displayed. When you lend objects to other institutions, do you specify in
the loan agreement that food should not be allowed in the gallery where
your artifacts will be displayed? When objects are on loan to you, do you
agree not to have food in the gallery where those objects will be
displayed? Does anyone have any stories that they would be willing to
share, positive or negative, of times when an event was held in their
exhibit gallery, and food was being served during that event?
Thank you.
