I would recommend PastPerfect. There may be others cheaper, but with
something like Access you would have to design the total format to fit your
needs. The advantage of PastPerfect is that it is already geared for
collections, includes Chanault nominclature, and has museum like format
which will remind you of many of the details you need to include. I plan to
do the same with my collectibles and photo collections soon.
