I am looking for a collection management software program that would be
appropriate for a private collector's sizable collection. Ideally the
program would be able to organize basic curatorial information on a variety
of types of arts and artifacts, record provenance and purchase, location,
and conservation information. The ability to link a picture would also be
helpful. The program would need to work on a Windows platform. To top it
off, it would be nice if it was reasonably priced!
I have heard of several programs including: My Home Inventory, The
Collector, Antique Dealer FastTrack Inventory and Business Management
Platinum Software, ArtWorks, The Museum System (TMS) Light. Any advice on
the suitability of these or other programs would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
