Summer Curatorial Internship Aspen, CO
Aspen Historical Society
The Aspen Historical Society is pleased to announce a curatorial internship
available from June 1 through August 28, 2005.
Position Description: The intern will work under the supervision of the
Curator of Collections in processing a large collection recently acquired
by the Society.
Qualifications: Recent graduate or current student of a masters-level
graduate program in museum studies, history, or a related field. Applicant
is required to have completed an introductory museum studies course and
have some processing experience. Must be able to work independently, be
detail-oriented, have good organizational and communications skills, and be
able to lift a 40-lb. box.
Compensation: $7200. 12 weeks at 40 hours per week, June 1 through August
28, 2005. Does not include housing, benefits, or travel expenses.

internship, a resume that includes a list of relevant coursework completed
