** 180-million-year dinosaur fossil excavated
Chinese archaeologists have excavated fossils of a herbivorous dinosaur
which lived 180 million years ago at the slope of a 1,840-meter altitude
mountain in southwest China's Yunnan Province
** Dinosaur 'Link' Found In Utah Fossil Dig
Fossil hunters in Utah have discovered a toothy and sickle-clawed relative
of Velociraptor that was in the process of shedding its carnivorous past for
a diet of leafy greens; a find that opens up an important evolutionary
window for one of palaeontology's oddest families

** Project Drumheller to Send Josiah Schultz to Hunt for Dinosaurs
This July, six-year-old Josiah Schultz-a budding young palaeontologist-will

** Other Fossil news: Fossil Patagonian Plants Show High Insect Feeding
diversity 52 Million Years Ago
South America has the most biodiversity of any major region today and
according to an international team of researchers, that biodiversity began
at least 52 million years ago
** Dinosaur Tracks Rewrite Palaeontology
The more than 5,000 dinosaur footprints discovered in Cal Orko, in southern
Bolivia, have prompted a reconstruction of the planet's history and a
correction of the science about these gigantic animals that dominated the
landscape until some 65 million years ago, when they disappeared from the
face of the Earth
** HK shopping mall to display dinosaur fossils
The Cityplaza shopping mall said earlier that eight dinosaur fossils
together with 10 fossil plant and animal specimens from the Chinese mainland
will go on display at Cityplaza of Hong Kong from June 24 to July 31
** Levy to run new themed restaurants
The Chicago-based restaurant operator has teamed up with the founder of the
Rainforest Cafe to launch T-Rex, a chain of dinosaur-themed restaurants
replete with robotic dinosaurs, a fossil dig site, a palaeontology lab and
an ice cave
** Dino-mite exhibit
At the museum filled with hands-on exhibits, children can blow through a
double length of tubing to produce sounds scientists believe once were made
by the parasaurolophus, a duck-billed, plant-eating dinosaur
** Father's Free Day

Rocky Mountain Dinosaur Resource Center.
