Hello,
We were recently donated an item that I think may be a thimble case. It
is an egg-shaped container that unscrews. Inside was a small brass
boat, but I don't know that it was original to the piece. Is anyone
familiar with thimble cases? If so, could I email you a picture to see
if you can identify the piece. Feel free to contact me off list.
