Hello all,

As part of a service-learning study, I am collecting case stories about collaborative projects that put students in charge of conducting research and designing interpretive materials. Classes or individual students might collaborate with a museum, visitor center, aquarium, national park - any organization that provides educational information to the public.

Educational products might include such things as labels, signs or exhibits, signed nature trails, educational brochures, guided tours, traveling exhibits, docent services, educational websites, or special educational events. Key criteria are that the students are 1) providing a needed service, and 2) gaining knowledge and skills that support, and are supported by, the curriculum in their classroom.

If you are involved in such a project, or can suggest others who might be, and would be willing to share your story, please contact me off-list at [log in to unmask]

Thank you for your help.
