I have four old brass spoons, hand-made, with a stamped hallmark on the
rounded end of the handle. The hall mark is partially obscured, but is a
circle, with a heart in the center, a "halo" above the heart, five
connected dots above the halo, a leafy garland (?) below the heart and
initials on either side of the heart: A on the left and unknown on the
right.
I am not too familiar with hallmarks on brass - anyone know of any
sources to find this mark?
