Hi Folks,
We have patrons who were presented with a gingerbread "plaque" while in
Europe...Poland I believe. It is very detailed and, if I remember
correctly, is loosely the façade of a building/church. The piece was
professionally framed, and they have had it about three years or so.
Recently, a section about 1.5 inches square and .25 inch fell off. They
have asked that I seek information about how to re-attach this piece, and
about any preventive conservation for such an object.
Thanks!
