I have just read Jim Collins' "Good to Great" and I am interested if these
theories are applicable to museums; and if so are there any museums out
there that have prescribed to Collins management style; and if so what
changes have come about in said museums. Any thoughts would be helpful.
I am a graduate student interested in the above as a thesis topic and
would like to know what working museum professionals think about applying
business management strategies to museums (or non-profits in general). Or
let me know if your museum has used other business management stratgies,
i.e. Fish!
Thanks for your help!
