The Columbus Museum, an 86,000 sq. ft. museum of American Art and regional
cultural history in Georgia, is seeking a School and Educator Programs
Coordinator. This position has responsibility over various
curriculum-related services and outreach efforts, including building and
maintaining relationships between the Museum and area students and teachers.
Major duties include developing curriculum tours, staff development courses,
and exhibition-related educational materials. The position requires a
minimum of 3 years experience teaching art and/or humanities in an academic
setting or working in a museum environment. The incumbent should possess
excellent teamwork skills and strong communication skills, be
well-organized, creative, computer literate, and able to handle multiple
tasks. Bachelor's degree in museum studies, art education, archaeology,
history or related field required, M.A. preferred. Salary: low to mid
