First I created a "Inventory Worksheet" for our senior aide/volunteers to
work off of that includes all pertinant fields in PP. They go through a
box, measure items, note characteristics/provenance/condition/box #, etc.
and photograph the object. I'd say that takes an average of 30 mins. per
item. Then I or a volunteer take the inventory sheets and photos and put
the data into PP. This takes also an average of 30 mins. per object. If
you have a lot of biographical info to enter also then allow time for that.
