Hello,
I am seeking a reputable, experienced expert in the technique of Molding and
Casting to replicate some objects from our permanent collection. These objects
include prehistoric native america pottery fragments, shell and bone objects, and
stone objects. Some of these are quite fragile and will require a knowledgeable
individual to both assess feasibility and conduct the mold-cast process. We are
looking for a turn-key contractor, able to produce finished, painted replicas. The final
replicas will be used in both exhibit displays and for hands-on educational
purposes.
Please note that all molds and casts produced during this project / process shall be
retained as the property of Fernbank Museum of Natural History.
References and a track-record of doing this sort of work will be mandatory.
This is project-oriented, contract work, and we are located in Atlanta, GA. Please
send me an email if you, or someone you know and recommend, is interested in this
opportunity.
Sincerely,
William Bevil
