I back up PastPerfect onto the hard drive every day
(which is on it's own hard drive, as I stated), and
back it up on 2 ZIP disks -- I take one home and leave
one here.

I think backing up the database three times is quite
enough, and using a ZIP disk is a cost-effective
solution for many institutions.
