Friends,
In recent days I have received emails from different contacts at IMLS.gov,
each with attachments, subject: Re: Thank you! or some other innocuous
message.
There was never any text, only an attachment.
I now realize that a virus must have infected subscribers to the listserv at
the IMLS and is reading my name from their inboxes.
Fortunately, I receive the digest form of the listserv, so I side step these
virus issues most often.
Queries to the listserv are rarely so urgent as to need same-day replies. I
encourage my colleagues to receive the digest format and thereby protect
themselves.
