Hello all. I've been lurking on the list for months now and I finally
have something to offer up for conversation. I'm currently working as
an intern for an small-medium size art museum affiliated with a large
public university and have been asked to help plan for a timeline that
is to be constructed as part of the educational resource offerings.
Does anyone have suggestions as to effective designs, materials, etc.
(space is limited)? I am trying to think of creative ways to position
the small copies (of some kind, this has yet to be determined) of the
museum's permanent collection in a way that would enrich the
museum-goer's experience rather than simple to feed into a rigid notion
of time on a linear pathway and works of art defined by their date of
origin/creation. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
