We have a "patron" who received a pendant from her father, probably ca.
1950s. He traveled in South America and Asia, but it is not necessarily
from either region. The pendant is about an inch in diameter and has
ibis on one side and a peacock on the other. Both are made from
feathers, possibly of the requisite species. It is outside our usual
domain and expertise. Google searches have produced nothing similar. If
anyone has an idea as to the origin of this object, or where we might
look for info, we would appreciate your input (preferably off-list). I
can send an image if that would help. Thanks.
