Hello,

A customer called me this morning about a portrait of her grandfather.
 It's done in polychromatic lead - not charcoal or pastels.  Someone had
told her never to photocopy or scan it because the light would cause
chemical changes in the lead and alter the image.  I haven't seen the
portrait so I'm only going on what she said.  I've never heard of this,
but that doesn't mean much.  Can anyone advise on this?
