The trouble is that the people whose systems recognize HTML don't see their
messages as garbled. The only way they can know there is a problem is to read
the mail on another machine than the one they use to send it.
Most of the list servers for the lists I subscribe to automatically remove
non-text content. Perhaps the MUSEUM-L's server could be so programmed.
