In response to Ms. Quigley's posting on the Seattle Art Museum, a note of
caution:
 
I used to work (as an Admissions Rep) at SAM, and while the
behind-the-scenes spaces ARE well-designed, in my opinion the public
spaces are not, at least in terms of traffic flow and preventing visitor
confusion.  The public part of the building is beautiful, and the gallery
space is stunning...but on practical terms I don't think it works well at
all.
