At a museum I use to work at this is how we mounted photos and text and
with a little practice everything came out looking very nice. We
actually didn't use any specialized equipment just a VERY shape
exacto-type knife and a steady had. We used a metal ruler as a guide and
ran the knife down at a slight angle to give the edges of the foam board
a slant that looked very nice. The real key was the sharpness if the
blade so that the cut was done in one smooth movement.
