We have been using HOBO dataloggers for quite some time now in our natural history collections. They are wonderful. We use the HOBO H8 which records temp, relative humidity and light intensity and they are about the size of a matchbox. Depending on the frequency of readings (which can be user set) you can get up to about 320 days worth of readings. We have set ours to record all three sets of data every 50 seconds and that gives us just over 7 days worth of recording. The data is then easily downloadable to your computer. The software provided then generates very easily readable and printable graphs of the data. The dataloggers run about $90 each, the software about the same and the serial pot cable connector about $20.
They have an extensive array of different types of loggers to choose from. More info about their loggers can be found at:
www.onsetcomp.com
We are also importing the data into Climate Notebook which will give more extensive results from this data such as preservation index etc.

Hope this helps. If you require any further infdo please do not hesitate to contact me
