One cut foot can leave blood stains on gallery floors. This offers a
practical explanation to an aesthetic and respect issue that may be more
difficult to explain. good luck.

Subject: barefoot visitors
This sounds strange, but have any of you ever had a visitor try to come into
your museum without shoes on his feet?
It happened to us yesterday for the first time ever. The weekend staff let
him in, but...
Now I'm writing a policy/procedure on the subject and would like some input
from all of you.
thanks for your anticipated help.
