Hello fabulous listers:

In a few museums where I have worked, the events policy includes a "no red wine"
clause. My understanding has been that red wine spills are just more permanent
and harmful both to floors as well as (heaven forbid) artwork. Do most other
institutions have this policy? Anyone ever been challenged on it and gathered
some backup defense info? Any suggestions/hint/comments are highly
appreciated! Thanks!
