--MUSEUMS AND MEDIEVAL STUDIES --

40th Annual Congress on Medieval Studies
Kalamazoo MI, May 5-8, 2005
Seeking proposals for 20-minute papers from medievalists and museum
professionals discussing educational, curatorial, or conservation
aspects of medieval collections and exhibits within the broader field
of medieval studies. Museums and their collections serve not only as
resources for scholars, but are a locus of informal education and
have the potential to reach K-12, college, and general audiences.
Their presentation of artifacts, methods of interpretation, and the
concepts of the Middle Ages that they present are of vital interest
to medievalists and educators as well as museum professionals.
Please send 1-page abstracts and a brief C.V. summary (1 paragraph) to:
