I don't know if this is a fit for you, but our local garden club volunteers
to redo our garden and they were able to get a grant from the National
Garden Club. Apparantly, they have a special grant program for historic
sites. I don't know what range the grants are, but getting the local garden
club involved is an idea.

Subject: Grants for Garden Restoration
Hi. I am sorry if I already sent this once, but there was apparently an
error the first time around. I was wondering if there are grants available
for historic house museums to restore their grounds (covering the planning
and implementation of a grounds plan.) We are AAM accredited--wasn't sure if
that would make a difference. Thanks.
