Greetings all - I have both of these programs installed on my home and work
pcs, even though we have a firewall on our server. It is amazing how much
'garbage' really does pile up on your machine. Best, VivianLea

Subject: A couple of free software programmes I would heartedly recommend to
Museum colleagues
Hello to the list,
One of my university colleagues recommended these two FREE software products
to stop ad/spyware and to provide a firewall to identify (and repel)
unwanted intrusion from the Web.
I was a bit sceptical, but my PC was getting a bit slow and so I used the
Ad-aware first - 96 'nasties' found and eliminated!

( make sure you download the FREE version which is the firewall only)
Best of all both are EASY to install - thought I'd share them with you
best wishes to all
