The deadline for registration is fast approaching for our seminar "Learning Through Objects: Museums and Young Children." The seminar is being held at the Smithsonian Museums in Washington DC on June 22 and 23. Museum educators, docents, teachers, exhibition designers, and others interested in engaging the youngest audience members in the museum are welcome to join us for a lively two day seminar. Presenters from the Smithsonian Early Enrichment Center share their expertise through discussion, hands-on activities with objects, and visits to the Smithsonian Museums. New object based learning kits will be available for purchase. For registration information reply to this email address or call Ann Caspari and Lynann Derick, Museum Educators at (202)786-4717.
