One more thing to keep in mind. The way an employer acts during the hiring
process is going to be a pretty good indicator of how life is going to be
once you get the job. Certainly the person you actually work for at SI (or
any other large organization) may be the most wonderful, caring person on
the face of the earth, but you are going to be working for the federal
government and that's how the bureaucracy works.
