Here is a question for those with paper conservation experience.
In my training and in practice, I've always cooked up batches of paste.
Now, I am ready to buy more, and I was reading about an instant paste,
brand name Stadex. This almost sounds too good to be true to me. It does
have an added fungicide, and I don't know specifically what that is.
Has anyone used this product with rice paper to repair documents? Any
opinions either way?
