Lynne, just as an FYi...our archivist just had a survey done of our paper
collections by a conservator from the Conservation Ctr. for Art and Historic
Artifacts in Philly and he commented that gloves are unnecessary with paper,
as long as hands are kept clean. Also, I always found that with old
newspaper they were "picky".
