GROUP LEADER-RETAIL SALES AT NEWARK AIRPORT, NJ
The Metropolitan Museum of Art, one of the world's finest museums, seeks a Group Leader for Retail Sales at Newark Airport Shop. The major responsibilities for the Group Leader are to provide excellent customer service on the selling floor that will exceed customer expectations. The Group Leader will participate in zone coverage of the selling floor and achieve sales goals. The Group Leader will direct shop and stock maintenance; participate in loss prevention efforts; and assist the Manager and supervisory staff with the opening and closing functions of the store. The ideal candidate must be sales oriented, outgoing, and have good interpersonal and communication skills. One to two years supervisory experience in Retail Sales, and the ability to supervise, train, motivate staff, and appraise job performance are required. Offer is contingent upon the applicant's successful approval for a security clearance conducted by The Port Authority of NY & NJ.
