I know that I asserted this a couple of weeks ago .. I still find it really sad that
the museums had juuust opened after about a decade's worth of re-assembling what was
looted during Gulf War One. - Here's an article from InfoPlease on the subject:
"Plundering the Past: Iraq Museum Opens Boxes After Persian Gulf War After ten
years, a museum in Baghdad reopens with prized antiquities"
http://www.infoplease.com/spot/stolenart5.html
Although I don't have this particular link on my site's "list of Iraq stuff", I do
have quite a few more .. though not really updated for over a week .. the real world
of mortgages and utility bills have distracted my attention ;-)
Anyway .. the page on my site I suggest for those with a further interest ..
