DIGITAL CULTURAL CONTENT WORKSHOP
Renowned experts from around the world are gathering in
Calgary, Alberta, Canada, for a workshop addressing the theme,
"Beyond Productivity: Culture and Heritage Resources in the
Digital Age." The Canadian Heritage Information Network
(CHIN), in collaboration with the Canadian Culture Online
Program (CCOP), and eCulture, is organizing this ambitious
workshop to precede the next Digital Cultural Content Forum
(DCCF). Speakers at the workshop will also present recent
research and related activities.
The workshop will help set the tone for the 2004 DCCF, which
will take place in Banff, on February 28 and 29, 2004.
The 2004 DCCF is open exclusively to DCCF member
delegates. To learn more about DCCF and its annual meetings,
please visit http://www.culturalcontentforum.org.
The workshop's official program will be posted mid-January.
However, a preliminary schedule and list of speakers, to be
updated regularly as speakers are confirmed, is currently
available on the CHIN site at
http://www.chin.gc.ca/English/Conferences_Training/Dccf_Workshop/index.html
Please note that while the workshop is open to all interested
individuals, space is limited. Translation services will be offered
in both English and French. For more information, please send
