We are currently revamping our teacher advisory panel. We look to the panel to help us gather insight on such topics as maintaining quality programs, increasing attendance, exhibit development, and any other issues that may be pertinent. We are looking for advice on the following:
How does your institution find teachers to sit on your panel? What criteria do you have for teachers or administrators on the panel? How do you keep your teachers on the panel? What do the teachers get out of being on the panel? How often do you meet? How do you involve the staff in your institution? Who is invited to the meetings? How do you use your panel? What general advice would you give?
Any information is greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
Jennifer
