Oh geez, sorry for clogging the list but that reminds me of one of my dad's
college pranks in the late 50s/early 60s that I just have to share. He went to
some poor art student's master's thesis show which was all bizarre abstract
art. He and his buddies then got a piece of poster board, slapped paint on it,
make up a fake lable and hung it on an empty easel where it stayed for the rest
of the show. People even went up and commented on it, not knowing it was a fake
piece of art.
And people wonder why some art just isn't taken seriously. ;)
