Archives Project Assistant
Delta Air Transport Heritage Museum

15 months, part-time position; support archival activities in a busy,
dynamic environment during Delta Air Lines’ 75th anniversary year.
Responsibilities: Assist with exhibit preparation/installation, research
requests, museum accessions, and other duties as requested by Archives
Manager.
Requirements: Enrollment in history (or related field) Master’s program or
ALA-accredited M.L.S. program. Some experience in library, archives or
museums, preferred. Strong commitment to the archival/museum field. Good
attention to detail and ability to work with interruptions. Strong
research, organizational and interpersonal skills. Proficient in MSWord;
familiar with MSAccess. Ability to lift 35 lb. boxes and exhibit props and
climb ladders.
Salary: $10 per hour, 15-20 hours per week, flexible hours between 9 a.m.-
5 p.m., Monday-Friday. Does not include benefits.
Delta Air Transport Heritage Museum is a non-profit museum in development,
located at Delta Air Lines world headquarters in Atlanta. The museum
maintains the Delta Air Lines corporate archives.
