If applying for a job with the Federal government, a standard 1-2 page
resume will NOT be sufficient. Although the job announcement states you
may use a resume, you are required to include information that I for one
do not include in my "non-Federal" resume. My resume for non-Federal
jobs is 2 pages, but my resume for Federal jobs is about 4-6 pages. In
addition, Federal jobs require that you submit narrative responses to
the KSA's (knowledge, skills and abilities) listed in the job
announcement. My responses usually are about 1 page per KSA.
In summary, the length of resume used will depend a lot on the type of
organization you are applying to.

Subject: resume length
After a lengthy absence from this list-serve I am back and wanted to get
people's opinions on resume length.
I had always heard that you should keep your resume to one page, but
more
often than not in the art world, I see multiple page resumes.
I assume experience does affect length, but I would like your opinion on
this.
