Just a quick note:
I've updated my site to provide resources (links, museums, news items) .. relevent
to current events. - Includes some image galleries from .. the collections that were
part of the Iraq Museum .. as well as Mesopotamia, Sumeria, etc. - For those
unfamilar with the history of the collection itself .. one aspect that is very sad
is .. in the aftermath of the 1991 Persian Gulf War .. many antiquities were looted
.. and the Iraq Museum had just re-opened after having invested countless manhours
in re-acquiring many of the missing items. - Anyway ..
Easiest way to access the new links is via the front page:
http://www.museumstuff.com
You can also do a search for "middle east history" (or whatever you wish) ..
listings will continue to be added in the days/weeks to come.
